•TALKS TO RESUME FRIDAY in VANCOUVER!!!
◦The mediator - Mr. Vince Ready - contacted both parties this afternoon by way of letter requesting "that the parties return to the bargaining table for exploratory talks in an attempt to find a resolution to this protracted dispute."
◦The Company contacted our President, Chris Nand this afternoon stating that they will be in Vancouver on Friday to meet. Chris responded that he will be there with our bargaining committee.

Lets hope this leads to a satisfactory agreement for both parties. "If the only tool you have is a hammer you will see every problem as anail". Abraham Muslow For those who follow your blog we are having an organized labour march on Monday April 4/11 at the USWA hall in Sparwood starting at 12 noon. We are looking for banners,posters etc be creative but respectful as we will be viewed by the public and children will be present
just a matter of curiousty does any of your readers know how to find the board of directors salaries for Teck Cominco for 2010. I know the CEO Don Lindsay makes around 6.5 million anually and some may be making more than him. Just imagine if they were to give a little back we might get a deal. your help would be hugely appreciated.
